The 20 twenty played at Lord's today
Was lots of fun for Surrey fans (that's me)
It's always good to watch your heroes play
Especially when they win easily
Though Newman went for quite a lowly score
Usman and Ramprakash hit perfect form
For Middlesex the bowling was quite poor
And Surrey's two old men hit up a storm
The Panthers play in pink, and they should blush
They never found a way to hit the ball
With many wickets falling in a rush
They didn't trouble Surrey's team at all
The champions gave way without a shout
When Schofield and the others spun them out

As usual, your rhyming is creative and original. I didn't quite understand the poem because I'm not a cricket fan but I think you made your emotions and opinions known in an entertaining way.
