Alone

Alone I stand in the rain,
Alone I stand with the pain.
I know your out there somewhere,
Waiting for a moment to spare.
Like you told me once before,
Before I was caught within your lure.
Your trap, your game,
And whose to blame.
You, you tricked me, you played me,
Don't you see.
You messed with me, toyed with me,
Still you don't see.
How much pain you caused inside,
How many times you cheated and lied.
How many times you laughed in my face,
How many times I tried to set you in your place.
How much I wanted to be alone,
How much I hated that tone,
That tone of hatred,
That tone that lead,
To the moment I couldn't stand,
Being around you and,
I left you.
Now us two,
We stand alone,
We stand alone,
We stand alone.

I liked this - I'd only change line 4 to waiting instead of wait, but that's just me. I liked the way you repeated the lines at the end. V dramatic!

  • mac, whats this about??

the only thing I would change is in line 15, make it "laughed in my face" instead of just "laughed in face"

this was truly amazing; great job with the rhyming!

    Brilliant, but sad. Great job.
