I look at the girl across from me
Seeing things others don't see
She looks like she's far away from here
Daydreaming of a place where people steer clear
She's so carefree, like a summer day
The way she walks leaves nothing to say
Her disposition reminds me that fate is up to me
To do what she did and do some self-discovery
When she left, it broke my heart
She never knew I loved her from the start
But here's my chance, it's just me and her
I need to show her how I feel
It's like she's in outerspace
Drops of Jupiter running down her face
The atmosphere can't hold her down
As Hayleys comet took her for a go around
She told be about her adventures on the road
Oh, how her face lit up and glowed
As she explained how she faired
I wondered if she missed me when she was out there
She told me she fell in love
With a crow in disguise as a dove
But now she's back and she will see
How much she truly means to me
For I am in love with a wonderful girl
who found herself as she travelled around the world
Up to the sky and out to the stars
Her hair dusty from the dust of Mars
