Man of the Street

He folds his blanket to a roll
And ties it with some rope-
The night was cold
He's getting old
Might be, he'll have some hope.

He walked into the shelter, where
He'll get a bite to eat-
And hopes he might
Have sleep tonight
His evening is complete.

But what about tomorrow
And what then, will he do-
This man's right there
But who will care
The Lord will get him through.
