I heard a clap of thunder
It rumbled out at sea
Now was there any wonder
I hid beneath that tree.
The tree itself was shaking
It's fruits fell to the floor
Just ready for the taking
I couldn't ask for more.
At last the storm was over
I gathered what I could
Then found a four leaf clover
Within this special wood.
It seems that when your frightened
A shelter can be found
As soon your mood is lightened
When you sit on the ground.
The fruits of hope whilst falling
Will touch you one by one
As you hear good luck calling
You walk into the sun.

Excellent
Wise, Wonderful and bountiful aliment for the soul.
"Changing Fortunes" can nourish the spirit and feed the mind.
I have enjoyed the reading of "Changing Fortunes" for its profound message, and for its poetics.
In admiration,

Ah, what a sweet and simple piece of rhyme. The thoughts are all so symbolic and the metaphor of finding a shelter from storm and the treasures falling on you are so perfectly done.
