True Love

It has taken me 20 years
but now I can finally see
happiness is about one thing
and its what you have done to me

It's an amazing feeling to have
and most people cannot explain
it fills the heart with so much joy
but can also cause such great pain

that shine so amazlingly bright
when only you walk into a room
they make life feel so right

That skin of theirs so soft
requesting you to hold those hands
making your mind race so high
changing all your future plans.

its that special laugh you hear
coming from their sweet lips
but you can't help but cry
when they leave on their long trips

Your body just fills with so much emotion
because your so happy and sad
crying each night you sleep
because you truely are so glad

Glad to recieve such amazing hugs
you hold onto so tight
never wanting to let go
cause there may never be another night

Its these little things you notice
when you find that perfect one
you know that all you've searched for in life
it is finally done

you have found happiness' one thing
and its deeply hidden in the heart
its what you call true love
