Above the Rocky Shore

Standing on the cliff
Above the rocky shore
Watching as the tides roll in
Splasing on the depths below

Watching you sit with a woman
Underneath our favorite tree
The sunlight gracing her face
You both look very happy
You've gotten over me I see

And I feel a twinge of hurt and betrayl
As you watch the birds fly high
While I stand alone, upon the cliff
Above the rocky shore
