HeyHo

Wide mouth, like an 'o'
A cawing vulture, cut me
Laughter.            Funny.
In the kitchen stabbing up
the flowers on the board
Sliced. He pricked a finger.
I put water in the vases.
Robot.
Light a candle near your picture,
And I smile, just a glimpse
Pretend I'm in the room alone.
So many people, standing
in the doorways of your home
Flooding back and forth
Flashing diamond teeth
I pick myself up and tap
                  Upstairs
Covers stolen from your bed
It s
    h
      a
        k
          e
            s
                me, sob and tear
I remember, tall hedge rows
You told me to glance and see
I am.
      I am.
And time is lost, away
I shy... I'm shy-
Without wanting any hand
I grieve.
Could I say with any other words
They can't hear?
Giggling hard glee
Nothing's meant, I know
I'd rather disappear
to fields of stop light poppies
and streams so light and flowing
and listen to hey ho,
and feel that you're not
                      Going.

To me it reads like a person living a life they aren't really satisfied with, I like the way you use the flowers here.
