I know a secret
Except it's not a secret
We all knew it was true
Until they told us it wasn't
I know a secret
Do you want to know my secret?
My secret is magic
I know that it exists
I'm convinced
Now its my turn to convince you
What's happiness?
Happiness is magic
What's hope?
Hope is magic
What are your dreams?
They're magic too
What is the truth?
The truth is magic
All this magic exists
Weren't we convinced of that as small children?
But somehow we all forgot about it
We believed we didn't believe
But believing in magic
is believing in happiness
Is believing in hope
Is believing in your dreams
Is believing in the truth
Magic is believing in yourself
Magic is something we've all forgotten how to do
But that doesn't mean we can't try
Magic is a 14 year old girl
Wrists covered in scars
smiling for the first time in far too long
as she writes this poem
we all need to believe in magic
Have i convinced you yet? (:
Be magic, because together
we can be magical

i thought it was kind of dorky/annoying at first, but then it grew on me!

Well written, I like the concept behind this. It is a beautiful thing to see the magic in everything around us, and yes, as we grow older we tend to forget.
