Grey, the color that no one understands
A mix of both sides, stuck in the middle
The color that no one notices, just expects to be there
The color that no one cares about
The color that no one will miss when I go
I am grey, it swells up inside of me conquering my every fleeting though
Invading my life making me do things that aren't me
These things that are becoming me
The me that no one expected
The me that no one will miss when i leave
Grey, the color of suicide
The color of the clouds floating above her motionless body
Grey, the color of stillness, numbness, of giving up, giving in
Grey, the color of the mist shrouding the mountains of my faraway dreams
The color of loneliness, of wanting to be alone, needing to be alone
Grey, the color of regret and hopelessness in our eyes
Grey, the lead of this pencil that slowly poisons my blood
Grey, unmistakeably, the color of sadness
Of being unable to continue
The color that makes you want to crawl into a ball and never emerge
The color of your feelings when you read this sh** and begin to understand me
Grey, the color of my thoughts, my dreams faded into dust blowing away with every heart-wrenching sob, every hopeless tear, sliding down your face into oblivion, into a loved ones uncaring arms
The color that absorbs me
The color that becomes me
The color that understands me
Grey, the color of lost love, of missing someone, something, not being missed
The color of the tear sliding down your wet cheek, dripping onto this paper, your eyes wet with sorrow
The sudden clarity of your hopelessness
That calming realization of what needs to be done, has to be done
The color of today
Of tomorrow
Of forever
I wrote this a year or so ago, I was in a really dark place at that time, please let me know your thoughts and comments

i get why you did it, but the words are hard to read
try changing the background a darker color, and keeping the words grey.
i like it beyond that, it speaks the truth! keep writing!
