Hungering Confinement

Hungering eyes begging for a saviour,
From the confinement of misery,
Every doubt in mind,
But they turn a blind eye,
Hands shoved into pockets,
Rushed away in the breeze,
Hopes slashed to shreds,
The pain of falling to your knees,
Tearing the hair from their heads,
And their eyes from the sockets,
The silent screaming of a confused soul,
Fearing the steps ahead,
Of falling in a misplaced hole,
An early grave,
A life loss toll.

Author notes

Depression eats at you, what can I say..
I suppose this is a somewhat better outcome than suicide.
