In rememberance

Still bones rest below us.
Those of which fought for freedom, individuality, and rights.
Going through time.
Representing a country yours and mine.
A world of ours to correct,
taking the blunder of its cruel effect.
So bow your heads,
one another,
from sister to sister,
and brother to brother.

I like how the first word "still" has two meanings here, both that the bones are not moving and that bones have and still are below us. Don't know if that was intentional, but if so, great!
