In a room lit by candlelight
In a church during the dark of night
A group of us...
The rosary, we recite
It's something I hardly ever did
But I thought that I might
In the darkness of this room
There was a certain glow
It seemed as though darkness was being dispelled
By our own words and the love we showed
After each mystery
We would tell our own story
Each from the mouth of a friend
Telling how their life was changed by God's glory
Some moved to tears
Others to laughter
But we all knew that after this
We'd be closer together
Even nature seemed to know
Covering the earth with a blanket of snow
Falling from the skies
Like glowing fireflies
Like fireflies in flight
Snowflakes illuminated
By the streetlights
To cover all our yesterdays
And make room for tomorrows
Where in faith we would walk
Feeling less of our sorrows
