struggling through the "twilight" waiting for the dark...

Twilight isn't bad if you look past all the errors
The editor forgot to fix
It isn't bad if you don't realize that
Bella's vampire friends are dicks

It's really bad for its target audience
Of impressionable little kids
Edward's a controlling abuser
About to pop his lid

Bella has no life
All she thinks about is boys
She's a one dimensional character
And with danger she often toys

She went out to the meadow again
After weeks of looking for it
Stayed there all of two seconds
And, her motorcycle, she floored it

She has no reason in her life
She does things on the fly
All she wants to do is be with Edward
For that she would certainly die

Edward is a vampire in such a bipolar head
One minute he says he loves her
One minute he says he hates her instead

The whole series, so far, is one big contradiction
I'm reading it for the laughs because I've made my decision

My twelve year old niece loves it
I just wanted to see what she was reading
I'm still on the second book
All the hype was, seriously, deceiving

Haven't seen the movie
Many people have said it's drivel
They're actually surprised I'm still reading
At the same time as a Stephen King novel

Stephen King said she sucked
Said Rowling was much better
Now, Harry Potter, I haven't read
But it got J.K. multi-million fame
Meyer won't come close
Twilight's just too lame
