Come Home
Arising to a moonlit sky
I wonder why I rest in solitude
Why is that we cannot simply be

This ballet of ours is fraught with echoes
Desires put off to please others instead of ourselves
I want you so, I am afraid to tell you

When we first met rivers parted, oceans stood still
You walked across a paved garden into my soul
Immediately I was overwhelmed, confused, and saddened

Dancing with others, surely just distractions
Energies wasted patching false kites never meant to fly
But all along it was our orbit waiting to emerge

Let us not lament those who have blessed us
Extraordinary as they might be, they are not we
Come home to me so the music never ends

Your scent on my pillow is fading, again

Bernoulli Effect

Waxed wings give flight,

clean air consumes.

Horizon desires cascade...

I savor You and taste anew~

Waiting on the Mist
Surviving the driving rain
as it shatters the mist
enveloping Puget Sound.

I lay here marveling out the
dew dropped window remembering,
remembering how these scars
were first formed.

Laughing aloud at myself, and
at the moments wasted waiting,
waiting on the horizon to be born.

I am enlightened watching the wind
steal my clouds leaving the eastern sky
empty but for the lone Gull
painting my new sky.

The shore now shimmering
with effervescence of tomorrows',
tomorrows' yet to be and unstoppable.

These clear days bring with them more,
more than simply hope or fantasy,
they bring you to me, eventually.  I wait.

not ready yet
Without cause we have been delayed once again,
what am I to do with my dreams now deferred?

My visions of us are now clouded with uncertainty,
will they simply fade or are they meant to be?

Like the sun burning endlessly on a rotting corpse
or a tack burring through my sole and reminding me
of the ache and damage being done with each step
this pain has dulled me and left me to drift aimlessly.

You have layers of scars, left from a fools pointless
lesson, but I am here and will not fade.

I accept my penance and will stride with a smile
despite the perpetual reminder of what has been paused.
I must believe we are yet meant to be, for without dreams
I would be living nothing more than a cliche's existence.

For You My Dear,
Be beautiful
Light your path
Be blessed
Shine from within
Be pure
A rainbow fulfilled
Be yourself
My Beautiful Soul.

Free Rider
          Always in flight;
          uncontained,
          unbridled,
          uncharted,
          unchangeable, and
          unchecked.
She breathes new air, and is...

                    free.

Amor Sereno

Vagando este valle, mi destino ha sido puesto,
Buscando para mi amor, una reflejo de la naturaleza.
Venga a mí en la blandura, una nubes que almohadillan,
Donde esta tierra cantará para siempre.

Laying Sorrows To Sand

I see a woman's silhouette
Dancing along the trees
Carefree and unchangeable
There waiting for me

Her sirens whistling
Slicing through heavens maze
Weaving a minstrels song
Beckoning a duets ballet

I hope to reach her
Hold on to what was set to sea
Strum to our joined rhythm
The only place I have ever been free

I awaken each morning, mourning
Laying my sorrows to sand
Waiting for us to be relit
Waiting to walk hand-in-hand

She is the one I exist for
She is the flicker that lights my soul
The one whose love is timeless
The one I long to hold.

it is a good morning
Peaceful, I don't know how else to describe this
You've given me this passage on a Chariot of the Gods
So long I have waited for this fevered phenomenon
A welcomed turbulence agitating me from semiconsciousness
Surrounded by a lushness words fail me to adequately describe
Gardens of Babylon surely could not have been this pleasing

So many questions ~ Do I really want answers ~

Am I awake, how did these clouds roll into our room
Can you hear what I do, are there dolphins truly whispering to me
This is my first time seeing it, have you ever seen this sky
Why is there a rainbow ending at your feet
Could this be the end of me, and the beginning of we
Are you awake, how did these clouds roll into our room

I searched without knowing, but ended where I have always belonged
Uncluttered of contaminants, cleansed of needless desires
Feeling's of everything and nothing, a harmonious coexistence
I've heard of this place, more Nirvana than Heaven
Where dreams are not dreams, but life.

Thank you.

Divine Memoir
Morning after, the sky still gray
draped in scents of us, a perfume of love,
after an evening spent enveloped in your maze

Your silken skin sheens against the light
remember how we grazed the Moon,
ethereal glowing, a glorious flight

A burned-in memory of passion's bliss
life has paused for us this night,
a single moment, a perfect kiss.

just jump
you cant love without jumping
dont fear the height
dont fear the landing

you might miss
but you wont know
unless you let go

so soar
cascade down
think only of now
make the jump
feel the air
let it float your wings

fear of failure
is fearing love

Our Last Love Song
I hear the far off beat of a new song
Growing closer are the rhythmic tones
Rattle of tin drums twanging in the inner ear
Never has music seemed so pure, so right

What comes next to this concerto of the heart?
I feel immediately connected to the supporting beat
Trusting that the treble and bass are perfectly in balance
Knowing for myself that the words will write themselves

T'was the ringing that woke me from the abyss
The bells which raised my soul from the dead
The echo's of the beat of my heart have returned
You are my reason to listen and beam again

The verse has but barely begun
Yet I already hear the chorus in unison
This is a song of two voices, yours and mine Querida
The singing has just started, but this is the last song for me.

Beckoning Love
I am impressed with raindrops of love caressing my soul
Your words whispered softly beckoning me from the cold
Together we shall venture to a place where we can trace romances of old
