The Circle Song

We all hold hands and form a ring
And then we start to dance and sing
So listen closely to my song
And you will know it before long

First we dance and circle right
And sing real loud with all our might
Now stop… and go the other way
And as you’re singing start to sway

We circle left and go real fast
Let’s see how long this song will last
Now stop… and throw your hands up high
And wiggle fingers to the sky

Now don’t stop singing; did you stop?
We must keep going ‘till we drop
Now stop… and join your hands once more
And sing much louder than before

Now circle right it’s time to run
The circle song is so much fun
Now stop… fall down, don’t make a sound
And pass the giggles all around

    This can become an adult game by just passing Brandy instead of giggles! Makes the "must keep going 'till we drop" part much more literal, too. I like it. It would make a nice song.
