"Bless His Name" (Acrostic Swap Quatrain)

Be glad my heart, sing ye His praise,
Lift up your voice in joyful lays.
Exclaim aloud, "How great thou art!"
Sing ye His praise, be glad my heart!

Soul, "bless His name," shout it with glee!
Honour, revere, eternally.
In ev'ry way, His love proclaim,
Shout it with glee! Soul, "bless His name!"

Ne'er shall I cease, e'er will adore
And ever will, forever more,
My Saviour, Lord, of love and peace.
E'er will adore, ne'er shall I cease!

Author notes

Psalm 100:1-4

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Mo, this is so beautiful, and clever . . . and filled with strength and words both spoken and sung from the heart. And I agree that the first stanza is exquisite. Great job and best of luck in the contest.

    Love ya,
    Dad
