Isolated

Your whispers caught on winds that drag them away, corrupt the perfect day
Your words are swept into the world, none shall hear, like nothing to say
This breeze of disappointment moves you, drawing you to feel like your alone
No matter how many times you turn, it seems there are things that haven't shone

Shone themselves to you

So isolated
Just try to take in one last breath
So frustrated
Just walk until there's nothing left

The moonlight falls from fractured skies, yet still no light, leaves you frustrated
The path is crossed in shadow lines, when did this life get complicated
The world keeps turning on it's own, but still these things keep feeling wrong
No matter which trail you have taken, your only still just led along

Nothing has shone itself to you

So isolated
Just try to take in one last breath
And run
So frustrated
Just walk until there's nothing left

How many times will the petals scatter, color blurred through lines of anguish?
How many shooting stars must fall, before you left without a single wish?
These questions answer less, you'll just be gone until there's nothing left
As every second passes by, as every piece of you will die...

...There's one last breath

When everything is shone to you

So frustrated
Just walk until it's all that's left
So isolated
Just try to take in one last breath

So isolated

Author notes

Idunno, just felt like writing something a little sad...even though a lot of my stuff comes off that way anyways lol. I imagine it like a slow Bullet For My Valentine song.

    • Awe gee, thanks for this comment. I'm really glad that you liked it so much. It turned out alot better than I thought it would, considering I hadn't written really any poems, let alone lyrics, since at least January.
