The dream of shores I cannot reach.
I lay beneath the moonlit sky.
I'd rather dream, the foreign beach.
The shores where I won't have to fly
I lay beneath the moonlit sky.
The pointless wish, I cannot dream.
The shores where I won't have to fly,
The dream that never was to be.
The pointless wish, I cannot dream
To leave reality, preferred.
The dream that never was to be,
Exist in heaven, dreams deferred.
To leave reality, preferred,
Escape the false, the fantasy,
Exist in heaven, dreams deferred,
And get towards reality?
Escape the false, the fantasy,
The dream of shores I cannot reach
And get towards reality?
I'd rather dream, the foreign beach.

I like the form in this, how the stanzas each come into the other. Nice job. Thanks so much for entering.
