I thought long and hard about you

If anyone took a leap of faith
It was me, quietly, your ego shaped.

You rolled the dice that much is true
But I was right there watching you.

But after your fist clenched and dice rolled
I knew from that moment I was sold!

I was captivated, taken by surprise!

But let me be clear to you, I really won you, "Ace"!
It was no mistake you rolled some eights.

I used my own tricks to be with you...
You rolled the dice,  you won on cue!

But on this bloodstone on my hand
It was my doing that you're my man.

    Reminiscent of Eartha Kitt!

    The purring parts made me think of dear old Eartha Kitt. Awesome write. I like this and the title is fantastic! I love the fact that you used the word bloodstone in your piece. I have an actual bloodstone. They are not that pretty, but they do have some speckles....tee hee. BTW, I adore cards and dice and all that jazz, so this was even more nifty!

    WOOOO HOOOO. Damn. That was good. umm I hope you don't mind me saying but, you should "purr" more often.
    Stanza's 6 and 7 were great. I really liked how you worded them. But the last to stanzas were great too.
    Ok My real number one favorite part was the begining. You made this a true response. I loved it.
