visionary of green Martian men.
Floating, suspended deliciously
above craters of cheese.
Could this be Heaven?
Beneath flannel sheets,
flashlight in hand,
as pages flip;
Luna big and mysterious,
beckoning him.
Engaging dreams,
slip him into space,
between today and tomorrow -
Future moon walker.

2.) Pen me something celestial. It can be about anything in for to do with the sky, such as the clouds, stars, sun, moon or whatever. I will even accept things about heaven or your equivalent. As long as it has something to do with the sky it is all good.

this is a wonderful piece. It definitely deserves the trophies. I love Th images in this, and i can relate to the future moon walker, I too was fascinated with space when I was younger. Perhaps this is why it was an option in my contest? Anyway, this is a great poem. Your work is lovely. good luck.

Congratulations on your wins. This is an enchanting imagery filled poem. It reminds me so much of my son because all he does is talk about outer space these days. Thanks for sharing.

I really like this.
It is brilliant and you've amazingly captured what you needed to and stuffed it down into 50 words. Thanks for entering my contest.

I like this. You've captured the scene so brilliantly. You've made me so effortlessly imagine this child and his dreams about the moon.
I don't think you need so many commas. I like how 'suspended deliciously / above craters' flows so easily.
Thanks for entering!
