Confessions of a Stupid Kid

The cutest toys
A gorgeous doll
All pencils, crayons
With sparkle and shine
A teddy bear
A bag, a bow
I stole them all
And got caught once.

The quiet room
My haughty smile
Like a demon's grin
I wait for her
To turn her back
Then push and shove
The other kids
Into the wall.

"I'm better"
"I make pretty things!"
The girls all cried
I said these things
A stupid kid
Who wanted love
Attention too
Or maybe both.
But hurting people doesn't work.

Great imagery! This reminds me of my bullying days in elementary school, which were never fun. This truly makes me just go deep in thought about all the bullying i went through over the many years. Great write!

Thank you! Yeah, I was the one who did the bullying in those days. Then I started getting bullied instead, and no, it was never fun. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading!
