I can see you're turning pages
crimping corners, losing places
lost to you is moving forward
no reminders, no disgraces.
I don't understand your premise
no responses, no exchanges
Truth is, we must die for freedom
change and focus, rearranges.
And, I wonder if we'll ever
silence voices in our head
holding onto one forgotten
thinking somehow it's not dead.
But, before the sun surrenders
to beseech another day
I still find myself regretting
words I never got to say.

unspoken words lead to undone actions leads to a life never lived, so what better thing to regret than what was left unsaid? I love this, its so simple but the words really hit home...<3
