I hear it all the time,
these feelings so untrue.
You say your life is in it's prime?
All so false, so little you knew.
I decipher all your thoughts,
these thoughts so unreal.
What knowledge have you been taught?
Evil thoughts so strong, so quickly you kneel.
I take no heed to all your lies,
these lies of a life so untroubled.
What love will only once rise?
To later plummet so fast, so much anger has bubbled.
I don't understand all of your reasons,
these reasons so unobserved.
Why run back to one who commits treason?
So many times, so strongly your feelings are curved.
You need all of his light inside,
these illuminations inside your heart so unkind.
Keep one thought in mind.
You can try,
try,
and try again.
But no matter how hard you try...
Light cannot illuminate the inside of stone.
