Beauty In Truth

When I hold you in my arms
I can feel your soul's magnetic pull
tugging at my heartstrings
forcing my heart to open
and release
all the tenderness
and care deep within.
Your scent permeates the air
and I lose myself
in your essence
as if it were
the cool summer's breeze.

The princess
unknowingly domineers
over the castle of absolute truth
and she does so without force
and carelessly flies
unaware of her own true reflection.
Within her own mind
she holds no title or jurisdiction
she sees herself
on or below
the level of the rest;
If only she could see
what others see,
what I see.

Blissfully lost
within a massive maze of many emotions
I observe the pathways,
each one never getting old,
never ending solace,
such constant exposure,
but these truths are so much easier to accept
with an open and truthful heart.
I take a deep breath and smile,
I silently stop by
and look into the looking glass
for one more moment
I spend my time
in awe and admiration of the beauty
divine and missunderstood
worldly and energetic
compassionate and aware
yet this beauty
always remains unaware
of its own presence.

No single word could explain
no single poem could put into persrctive
the uundifinable undeniable visions of truth
the unexplainable unattainable mystery
and the endless trendless swarm of open emotion.

  • This is awesome! I read it before but I didn't comment because I wanted to come back and read it again.
There is much truth in emotion, but so often it seems like we hide in or behind the emotion and never quite get to, or realize, that truth, or maybe we are just afraid, I am...whether its good or bad, sometimes it can be alot to deal with...
This really puts it all into perspective and feels like it opens your eyes, if you want to see.
