Rose In The Sunrise

There was a rose in the sunrise
And i picked it just for you
Petals soft as velvet
Stained crimson by the dew.

This is my love
And it shall never die
Growing all the time...

...Stained with the blood
My heart has bled
Just to make you mine.

Prick your finger with the thorn
Let's make a blood oath
Upon my life your love is sworn
A promise you'll come to loathe.

Growing for eternity
For all the world to see
This rose shall never wilt
And neither should you and me.

Still poetry about some obsessed about subject, but deeper. More articulated. Less surface and with more compassion.

  • how sweet it sounds like you have an inccent love going on. I love the imagery and desribtion of this one rose.

    'Petals soft as velvet
    Stained crimson by the dew.'

This quote says that your love if like the rose petal always stay beautiful as a butterfly never try and wilt fom the crowd.

    Nice poem
