looking down at the floor
macroscopic magnification
so close
we became one
"Here again" it whispered
so inviting it was to me
"I was lonely" the floor said
I slowly arched my back
onto my knees
and sighed a sound of relief
ALIVE
knowing that time wasn't on my side
I
achingly, with bloody hands and feet and head and arms and nose
stood on my feet
gazed and confused
locked in endless emotions of......
"YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU right"
voices of encouraging women
burned through my shirt
pierced my veins
and
drained me of my weakness
so goodbye floor
memories
You keep them
loneliness is not an option for you
There will be more
