A beautiful made up doll
with a messed up life.
Only as glamourous on the inside
as the ugliest of uglies.
One cannot hide their true identity.
I'd rather a pin-up poster of Olive Oil
knowing she was true to her heart.
In the end she was always Popeye's girl.
If there be a song in your heart
let it sing far and wide,
touching as many hearts
in the distance traveled.
Let the story reach all
who can understand.
Our bodies are only our blanket,
yet they're still filled with holes.
Let the inner spirit shine it's light
out from within it's shell.
And we all will see beauty
in her finest hour.

Great write. You are right, beauty is only true on the inside, the outside means so little in the end. Good point made here Noah.
