It's amazing how much a dog
can have on someone's life
how they can really tug at your heart
and pull you through the strife
Norbert was his name from the kennel
named after the Harry potter dragon
with mum he was so warm and gentle
we've dressed him as a vampire
he acts as the king of this house
totally boss, surrounded in his empire
artistically he stands upright
paw in the air, looking gay but
in the lerture breed this is instinct to hunt and fight
crafty Norbi came into our world; forever our mutt
my best friend comes over and I want him to move
he's having non of this, stubborn and disapproves
I'm being stern with him and he's testing me
my friend is watching and giggling with glee
proficient and skillful I demand he gets down
nothing's working to which I frown
The word my friend speaks of a word called C.A.T
he moves so fast the defiant Pratt
he is so spoiled but has a great character
mum is the one tucking him in at night on the sofa!

no other dog could look as sleek and trimmer
