Gee! uh… thanks.
You really shouldn’t have.
No, I mean really.
Oh yah it’s nice and all
But what am I going to do with it?
I mean where am I going to put it?
I appreciate the effort.
I really do. You're sweet.
But I really cannot accept it.
Maybe you should just put it back
Where you got it
Before anyone notices.
Remember what happened last Christmas
When you gave me the sea?
That was a mess.
Right?
Even you said so, after I got it unwrapped.
No! take it back I’m sure.
When you get back
Maybe you can take me out to dinner.
I’d like that a lot more.
Don’t be mad
It’s very nice just kind of impractical.
Yes, yes, hurry!
I’ll be waiting.
Author notes
I liked the prompt and thought it shows how crazy and dysfunctional most popular representations of love are.

The grammar here is pretty bad. I suggest looking over the punctuation, too. "I appreciate the effort.
I really do. Your sweet." for instance, the "your" should be "you're". -

you.
I love it, and I agree.
and since when do we have to have the sky anyway.
what a fun write to read, thank you.
Love,
