The viens in your gentle hands
make it clear the way a woman works
When I recall your voice
I hear you singing
as you bathed me
about the butcher, the baker, the candle stick maker
and I know I am forever loved
Forever the shy, blushing, little girl
hiding behind your legs before unknown faces
full of questions you tried your best to answer
and all the restless nights I caused
could never slim your heart
The only arms in the world
that make me feel
as if everything will really,
some how fit perfectly into place
are yours

An excellent write. Thank you for follwing all the rules. And yes, this is a wonderful write very inspirational. Flows wonderfully and you wrote so well that I can just see this little girl hiding behind mama's legs.
Thanks for sharing this with us and thanks for entering it into my contest.
