A Life Forgotten

A young boy sighs and walks down a street,
he hears nothing but the sounds of his feet.
Sitting in a dark alley with no one to love him at all,
he cries himself to sleep an curls up into a ball.

People walk by and don't seem to see him there,
He just wonders, if he's gone would anyone even care.
A meaningless life for a child so bright,
as it wastes away in the dark of night.

A tormented child with no one for him to love,
he just wonders if he'll find love in the sky above.
That just maybe God hasn't forgot about him,
and why he let him live a life so grimm.

That night he decided to put his life to an end,
because his soul was to broken to mend.
