There was a time I sadly remember only too well
when my life became an extreme living hell
and there was nothing I could do
but your the only reason that i made it through
through all of the sadness and all the despair
my best friend you were always there
to give me a shoulder on which to cry
or to give me a reason to live when i wanted to die.
A friend indeed loyal and true
I would never have made it if it were not for you
at a time when my heart inside was breaking
it was you that cried because i was aching.
At my darkest hours when my world had shattered
you always picked up the pieces and made me feel like i mattered
and no matter how bad my life seemed to be
you were the one always there for me .
These words are my thank you ,you deserve so much praise
for bringing some light to such dark lonely days
I would never have made it had it not been for you
my best friend ,my kimmy this one is for you.

Wow, and this one almost brought a tear to my eye, even though I knew the story and the dark times you speak of here. Bravo! I am sure, knowing Kimy, that not only will she cry from this, but she will probably bawl like a baby. lol. Bravo, again!
