A Piece Of Heaven

It's so cold but so peaceful up here everyday.

The dark sky above makes the whole environment,

seem so isolated showing the true color of blue.

No one has been here except for its creator.

The icy mountains are starting to melt,

as billions of crystals drip throughout the canyon.

My heart sighs at the beautiful sights around me.

With every cautious step I come to realize,

just how precious and everchanging this world is.

I feel so lucky to have found this beautiful piece of Heaven.

Such a beautiful write, and what a beautiful picture to go with it! *sigh* Wish I could go somewhere like that! You did an excellent job on this piece, making the reader feel like they are there, listening to the ice slowly melt. It's one of those places that you could here a pin drop from miles away.
