I kneel on the floor,
Tears falling from my eyes.
I have learnt to hate you,
because of all your lies.
Then why do I still love you?

you have broken me completely,
but still I don't shed a tear.
People say it’s plain to see,
People say its clear.
That I shouldn't waste my time on you,
But without you I'd disappear.
But nothing is ever simple,
There’s nothing clear to see.
I could never let you go,
you're much too dear to me.
I love you but I hate you,
Without you I'd be dead.
But you’ll be the death of me,
With all the things you’ve said.
So despite all the sleepless nights,
You invade my every daydream.
I love you but I hate you,
you run through my bloodstream..

You are absolutely right. Love will always overcome hate. I think that you did the most amazing job on this poem. 3 amazing handclaps as always on this.
The imagery was breathtaking and the words flowed so well. I think that you did an exceptionally terrific job on writing about this type of pain.
"I love you but I hate you,

This stanza had to be my favorite stanza. The emotion was deep and sunk right into my brain. Not only did it sink, but it lingered. Good luck in the contest, I'd give you gold.

ahh yes i can relate to this SO MUCH! there is someone in my life at the moment who i hate but its only coz i love her so much that the hate is just to mask the pain of having my heart broken and trust betrayed.
