Hope brings a leap of Faith,
and with Grace, she has amazed us all.
The world may crumble around her,
but no pain shall be written upon thier walls.
As luck would have it, she hasn't any,
It is what begets her.
"Only me" is what she told me.
I never believed, until she got
hit by a zamboni.
"It is this series of unfortunate events
that has made you who you are,
and through three pairs of the cutest little eyes,
you are the brightest star."
And when the loved ones around her
have faultered and betrayed,
there is admiration in her eminence,
she won't be led astray.
A star must shine,
beautiful and fierce
a virtue that won't be phased.
Forever illuminating the darkness,
with Hope, Faith, and Grace.
Author notes
This is actually about my friend, her daughters are named Hope, Faith, and Grace. She is a wonderful mother, and she has the worst luck in the world!

fantastic poem
great pace, I like the way you interrupted the rhyme in the second stanza, because of a dramatic event, I thought it was a great play on the piece. your sentiments are expressed well and I liked the use of indirect speech brought to us by parts. really cute piece! thanks for entering and good luck in my contest

I loved the line about the Zamboni, its such an unusual word to come across in a poem, and really made your piece stand out for me!
