you are a star
in a claustrophobic sky
that forgot it needed to shine, I said.
______
I wish pictures could talk
I see you smiling your biggest smile
but in 20 years I may not know why
___
I may even forget the unrefined poet you are
so i'll suck in your voicebox with a kiss
and allow your words to multiply in my womb
____
silent birth
drink speech from my bosom, she said
and generously fertilize, with your poetic seeds, my foolscap folio heart

definitely my favorite stanza.. very well written
the second stanza
is less poetic-- trying to figure out what you can do with it.. i think its the two smiles.. and the word biggest
great opening too..
such a pleasure to read you here in my contest.. thanks so much
