My heart bleeds no more
Now that it's been turned to broken stone
Even surrounded by angels
I'm left to face this world alone
The silence deafening
The ground shaking beneath my feet
I need the voices in my head
Something to fill the silence, making me complete
Me, a fallen angel
God? Should I even try
When I fell my wings were broken
Lord help me if I ever have to fly
After being turned to crumbling stone
My heart, it bleeds no more
I'm being beaten down to nothing
Like a tiny pebble the ocean beats against the shore
I'm sitting here in my silence
Wondering how to get there
Trying to return to Heaven
I say my silent prayer
"Dear Father waiting in heaven
Please change my heart from shattered stone
God free me from my sins
Sweet angels don't make me face this world alone"
A stone face can shed no tears
A stone body can feel no pain
My heart of stone can bleed no more
Stone, no matter how broken can only remain
