Summer skies,
Crushed candy
Electrifying kiss,
Minty breath,
Soft blue eyes,
It's you that I still miss.
I just wanna be there
When the time is right
Feel your arms around me
Dream, with all my might.
Wanna see the sunlight,
Know you'll stay awhile
Acting in the moment,
Lost within your smile.
Drifting dreams,
Coffee mug,
I thought I had it all;
Unreturned,
Unopened,
Who knew my star would fall?
I just wanna be there
When you take my hand
There's that light in your eyes
You know I understand.
Wanna taste the colour
On your warming lips,
Your familiar hand
Winds around my hips.
Lost chances,
Hot silence,
Oh why was I afraid?
I should have been more brave that night
Cos then you might've stayed.
