without the queen
the king is useless
but I've never been much of a queen
barely a pawn, almost entirely useless
forgetable,
under estimated
unlikely to over throw the queen
hardly worthy of taking the king
A nothing
A foolish move, perhaps
an expendable death
a sacrifcal lamb
to be used at the expence, only of my life
to save a useless king
who in this instant, needs something other than a queen
A kiss, of death
I fall... leaving a game that was never truely mine to win
Adieu

I have a friend who also sometimes uses her cellphone to write poems for quickie contests. I have no idea who you guys have the patience, lol
A sad poem, but I'm sure you are more queen-like than you know. I'm sure someone does or will see you as such.

You forget that when a pawn reaches the other end of the board, it can become a queen. =P
