Today I was waiting for you to call
Every five minutes I looked at my phone
Maybe I missed it? Did you send a text?

Seeing no call or text, I let my phone fall.
Last time we spoke, you wanted to be alone.
And I agreed, said I'd try my best...

So I sat waiting to hear my phone ring

Those three little words... With nothing to prove.
Would have made my heart sing,
but wouldn't have taken the problem away.

This problem is silly but really quite involved.
Good friends could be lost unless the problem is solved.

But how can we solve it if we don't take a chance?
What if we miss what could be because we're afraid?
Is that a risk we're willing to take?

We can't afford to make a mistake.
