Our secret fellowship was having another meeting. Seems that is all they ever want to do now, is meetings and attempts to summon a entity through the abyss. They have forgotten that it was Isabel that had to hold the others at bay with each attempt that they have so far tried.
The three guys, Alex, Derek and George, all think that they are stronger in this. It is just because they are male. Even Merideth and Callie are beginning to believe in that nonsense. None of them holds the power that Isabel does, not when it comes to summoning and holding, the semi-gods.
This time, things will be different. This time they all will learn the truth. Tonight Isabel will call forth one that will cause them all to know just whom is the strongest, for she will call forth Bar-Lgura, and turn him upon them all.
~Isabel sets the items she will need to call forth the monster from the abyss, a wicked smile touches her lips. If any could have seen her eyes, the glow of fire burning in them, they would have questioned what was really going on.~
...........................
Night has fallen and all have shown up, they all came at the same time. Isabel was there to greet them all. Handing them each their drinks, as she was the hostess for the night.
"When we are ready, we can go down into the coven's cave. I have the things ready for tonight. And thank you all for allowing me the chance to show you, what I am able to do." Isabel said, but there was something in her voice that the others had missed. For if they had listen carefully, she sounded like she was slightly mad.
They finished the drinks and followed Isabel down the stairs. She was right the area was indeed ready for whatever was going to happen. The design was drawn out, the circle was marked, and she even had each member's name written by their symbol. Yes, Isabel had been working on this for a long, long time.
They started with the protection chants, to keep whatever they were to summon from harming any others. Then they called upon the four winds, to bless what was to happen next.
Isabel then, spoke words none had heard before. For they were spoken in the old tongue, that of their grandparents. Her voice held the power in it, and the musical tone was making each member sway back and forth with each sound.
"I call you, Bar-Lgura, from the void of the abyss. Come to me to do my bidding. I demand you to come to me now."
Those words no sooner left her lips, when in the center of the circle, a creature that looked like a gargoyle was staring at all of those around it. When its eyes landed on Isabel, it mockingly bowed its head.
"Who dares to call me from the Abyss?" Its words were just thoughts in everyone's head, echoing off every corner of their minds.
"I, Isabel, hath called thee forth. And you are bound to do my bidding, for one month."
After that was spoken, something she did not expect happen. Everything vanished for a moment, and when the dust cleared, the coven was laying down on the room above's rug.
................................
They all tried with all of their might, to remember what had happened. But, since they could not do so, they all left and went back to their normal lives.
Only, Isabel felt like something was amiss. She read over her notes and found the semi-god's name, and once she spoke it, he was standing in front of her.
"What is your bidding, my Mistress of this time?"
Isabel thought about it, and then whisper just one phrase into his ear.
...............................
Each night all of the coven, would share a dream, and in that dream, Bar-Lgura would show each of them just one way that they would become a walking zombie. They each shared the same dream, even Isabel, for she wanted them to think that she too was affected by these dreams.
These dreams started to cause the members to go insane. Alex and Derek, had tried to take each other out with swords. George went after Callie, and even Merideth tried to stab Isabel in the back. Each of them thought the others were out to get them. Madness was slowly setting in.
Bar-Lgura smiled at his special way of taking care of business. For each of them were now powerless to send him back, all that is but Isabel for even though she acted like she was under the same curse, she had kept her barriers strong. Oh, the dreams attacked her as well, but she walked along with them in these, and remembered it was her that set it all in motion.
One by one, they were all admitted to the mental hospital, but the dreams kept coming till their passing from this life. Even Isabel ended up going insane. Slower than the rest, but then again Bar-Lgura used her to gain more power so that he would never be sent back to the Abyss. He is still out there somewhere, looking for his next victim.
......................
If you do not think that Bar-Lgura is out there still,
watch out, for he cometh after you.
