delicately tip-toe
across the hardwood floor
in an intricate display of miniature acrobatics
producing no sound.
(except that of the gentle rustling of silk
as her diaphanous slippers caress the planks
upon which she glides.)

Thank you - I've had trouble writing poetry in the last several months (far too stressed out about life) - but every once in a while, something comes to me, and it's usually good stuff!
I also feel the need to point out that to write this, I actually had to youtube videos on ballet, because I know absolutely nothing.
