A Tribute to History of Theater

Inane and idle prater
This is what you call a class?
This insipid pointless chatter
Why don't you kiss my donkey's ass

This class is utterly lame
What history have we learned?
Your monologue-ing is melting my brain
This class has left me burnt

'History of Theater' you claim
'Is a class I can teach!'
But all you do is the same
You’re not Jerry Falwell but all you do is preach!

A pox! Fie on your fiend!
Your mindless chatter is inane
My slate, of your class, I have cleaned
This class has driven me completely insane!

Author notes

Be glad you have never had this class at my college. I swear it was THE WORST class taught by THE WORST "teacher". The man couldn't teach his way out of a paper bag and all he does is talk about things that don't even PERTAIN to the subject matter. I hate him and he should be drug out onto the streets and kicked repeatedly for even pretending to be a teacher. "Oh God that I were a man! I would eat his heart in the marketplace" (Much Ado About Nothing, Act 4 scene 1 Beatrice. W. Shakespeare)

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
