She stalks her prey across the barren wasteland that is the living room,
crouched low,
fur on end.
Slinking through the wire jungle, she is clearly queen here;
fearesome,
silent and deadly.
The dim-witted object of her hunt is in sight, unaware that he's about to die.
She crouches,
teeth bared.
She springs in one graceful motion, and he doesn't stand a chance;
claws and teeth
rip and slash...
The shoe goes down, and she has won again.
Author notes
Tora is the name of my kitten, and means 'tiger' in Japanese. She likes to hunt everything in the house, like a tiny tiger.
