Remorseful Dance

There's something wrong with me
I can feel it when i breathe
There's something here i've misconcieved
And all of those childhood dreams were just make believe

Dancing and floating a smile so pure
Eyes glistening without a search for a remorseful cure
Now the mask is removed
And new thoughts leave me confused

As the sky sheds cinders
Where the sparkling snow once fell
As the lights dim
And i take my final bow

Only an act
Now a toast to an oblivious end

oh, I think it very fine, indeed, my only suggestion is to change the final line...if you lookup the definition of "oblivious" I think you will see why... fine stuff...

  • Oh my this is great, your pen is always froth with such wonderful imagery and emotions.

I really love this piece and would love to hear it set to music.
