The Wheel of Time turns as it will
And we are just pawns of the turn.
It weaves out the pattern of life
And we live to die in return.
Some of us are meant for greatness,
Some merely take up the slack,
But one thing is ever for certain
We will all die and come back.
For stories will one day be legends,
And legends to myth they do fade,
And myths can change meaning and glory
As time's hand on them now is weighed.
But in life's tragedy and glory,
As the age blows away with the sand,
The Wheel of Time just keeps on turning
And everything is as it's planned.

In tribute to Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. This is the gist of it all, as I understand it.

wow
yes time is ahealer and is limited..it turns and we grow older..in our opportunities..some are given grand ones other so small that nobody ever notices them...but all have one and same end...wow....a super poem..Guess you may like to visit emas i have written extensively on this theme. -
We probably all like to think that we are in charge of our own lives.Sadly this is not true I believe that what is written is written, and we only make the choices we are meant to
As you say it is all planned ( my thoughts anyway)
Excellent good luck in the contest
