sitting there
she watches the cigarette fall
from her now steady hand
into the pool of blood collecting on the floor
landing,
burning out
white paper turning red
her gaze changes
to her wrist
trailing down her hand
crimson stains upon her skin
a single drop
landing upon the floor
once the dark wood shone
now its just a bowl
collecting the life
against him she lays
looking deep within
life flashing before their eyes
slowly they create
their last memory
her eyes a brighter green
his a deeper brown
their minds full
from the memories they have
hand in hand
the last of the nectar flows
from the flower of life
in lovers arms they die
the last time
the blade pierced their skin
an eternity of bliss
now awaits them
walking their last walk
with the peaceful blade in hand

i hope this isnt too happy for a suicidal cutter poem. it was jsut something that came to mind.

Excellent Write
This is the type of write I cannot do. Perhaps I haven't seen enough Shakespearian plays to prompt such descriptive wording. This is indeed a very descriptive piece. A calm death without great drama.

It isn't too happy, but it does have happy moments. Not all cutters/suicidals have bad and depressing times all the time. I was looking for ALL different points of views, so Good Luck in the contest!
