Where can I find some sympathy?
A grain or two of smooth affection?
One shred of wonderful consolation?
Or two drops of love?
I will pay any pricey cover charge you want,
Just give me the compass in your hand,
And lend me a friendly constellation under the moon,
So that I might see the road at my feet.
I hope to find her there,
Blinking so loudly that I might smell the fear in her dreams.
The only cure for such insomnia,
Is the worry stone I have made for her,
Carved out of my heartstrings and skin,
Giving her a dose of sympathy,
A grain or two of silky affection,
A shred of persistent consolation,
And a drop or two of forever.
What more can I ask for,
Than a smile on her velvet lining,
At three in the birth of our mourning.
She was my whole world,
Yet now, her flesh and blood is my savior.
Take my hand, dear child,
Let her rest in peace...

very deep
I love how you repeat a drop or two forever
And how all your asking for is love but in the end the one you love is in much pain and you need to let
Them go
Well that's what I got outta it
I think the main idea is very good but it got a little confusing in the middle seeing if you want there love or not
