Darkness Falls

I awoke today,and cried out loud..to the sound of my heart breakin
I hung my head, as the tears were shed.. I knew I'd been forsaken
The darkness falls and all around the shadows they do chase me
I reached out to you.. but you were gone.. you had set me free
I linger in this past of mine..
hoping for a light to shine
but all is dark and lonely here
it hurts too much for me to bear
Ive tried to think of ways to move ahead
but all I can see is your face instead
forget me nots are all forgotten
everything is sour and rotten
my life is full of want and waste
it doesnt matter I've been replaced
